An imam will sit on every medical ethics board

An imam will represent the laymen on medical ethics boards in Turkey according to the new regulations by the Health Ministry published in the Official Gazette. These boards usually function within the framework of medical schools but supervised by the ministry are supposed to oversee the ethical rules of medical research, new methods of therapy and new medicine.
